Collection: Serums

Serum is a highly concentrated skincare product formulated to target a specific skin concern. It is typically thicker in consistency compared to toners and essences but lighter than moisturizers.

Serums contain a higher concentration of active ingredients, making them more potent and effective in addressing issues like signs of aging, pigmentation, acne, and dehydration. Because of their concentrated formula, they are designed to deliver targeted treatment deep into the skin.

What are the most common key active ingredients in Serums?

Hyaluronic Acid: Hydrates and plumps the skin.

Vitamin C: Brightens the skin and reduces dark spots. Boosts collagen production.

Retinol: Encourages cell turnover, reduces fine lines, and treats acne.

Peptides: Help with collagen production, improving skin elasticity and reducing wrinkles.

Niacinamide: Balances oil production, reduces hyperpigmentation, anti-inflammatory, and minimizes pores.

Salicylic Acid: A BHA that unclogs pores and treats acne.

How should you use a serum in your skincare routine?

After toning (or essence): Apply serum after you have cleansed and toned your skin. Since serums are concentrated, they need a clean, hydrated surface to work effectively.

Use a small amount: A little goes a long way. Use 2-3 drops for your face, and gently pat it into your skin. Don’t rub too hard, patting helps with absorption.

Follow up with a moisturizer: Serums are not intended to be a substitute for moisturizers. After applying serum, make sure to follow up with a good moisturizer to lock in hydration and seal in the active ingredients.

Use consistently: Serums are most effective when used consistently, usually once or twice a day, depending on the specific product.
